Revo has managed to establish a new record for the fastest commercial vehicle to lap the Nürburgring.

They got this idea after the Top Gear UK episode when Sabine Schmitz lapped the track (bridge to gantry) in a Ford Transit in 10 minutes and 8 seconds. This record has been improved significantly as the T5 lapped the full circuit in 9 minutes and 57.36 seconds. A bridge to gantry lap is approximately one mile shorter than the full track.

The vehicle used for the record-breaking attempt was a T5 2.0 Twin Turbo Diesel provided by Transporterland in Lydney. This particular van had been previously driven hard for 80,000 miles (128,747 km) and received an ECU remap, Forge intercooler/oil cooler and a Milltek "turbo-back" exhaust system. As a result of the changes, engine's output was bumped to 220 bhp (164 kW). Other modifications include a Bilstein B14 coilover kit, along with Team Dynamics alloys shod in Dunlop tires.
