A new report indicates Chrysler will launch the next generation of the Town & Country in 2015.
Production is expected to kick off in 2015 at the Windsor Assembly Plant, according to WardsAuto Information Products industry analyst Haig Stoddard. He added the minivan will be sold as a 2016 model year. Stoddard also said production of a Chrysler crossover will start in 2016 and be offered for the 2017 model year as a spiritual successor to the Chrysler Pacifica.
The current generation of the Town & Country came out initially as a 2008MY when it was assembled in St. Louis, Missouri. In late 2008 production was relocated to Windsor, Ontario, Canada, while for the 2011MY the model went through significant changes in terms of mechanicals and styling.
