Audi has unveiled a unique “Home of quattro” exhibit that will be on display at Design Miami/Basel which runs from June 11th to June 16th.

Designed by renowned scenographer Tim John, the display showcases milestones of the company's quattro all-wheel drive system. Among the scenes incorporated into the "quattro" wording are Walter Röhrl’s triumph at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and the iconic commercial that shows an Audi 100 CS quattro ascending a ski jump in Kaipola, Finland.

The display will be augmented by a 1984 Sport quattro and a new RS6 Avant which are effectively bookends to the history of quattro all-wheel drive.

According to Luca de Meo, Member of the Board of Management for Marketing and Sales, "Tim John’s installation expresses the emotions that our quattro customers experience." He added, "quattro is also shorthand for driving safety and sportiness as well as engineering excellence and a dynamic approach to life that doesn’t yield even to the bumpiest of roads.”
