Mia-Electric has struck a deal to import their French-made electric vehicles into the United Kingdom.
Under the terms of the agreement, Venture Automotive Holdings will become the exclusive importer of Mia-Electric vehicles in the United Kingdom. There's no word on which models will be imported, but they will initially be targeted at businesses and fleets.
All Mia-Electric models use two Lithium-ion Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries that enable them to travel up to 74 miles (119 km) on a single charge. When the batteries are depleted, they can be fully replenished in approximately five hours. If that's too long, a ten minute charge can enable the cars to be drive roughly five miles (8 km).
In the U.K., Mia-Electric vehicles will come with a five year/ 70,000-mile warranty and pricing will start at £16,995 (excluding VAT).
