Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will launch an Internet television broadcasting service, starting with a live report from the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week in Berlin, on July 12, 2007. The Internet TV will feature five channels for lifestyle, cars, engines & sports, history & legends and innovation. The service will include a weekly feature of news in "the world of Mercedes" by RTL reporter Tanja BeÃƒÆ’Ã†â€™Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â¼lter and allow Internet viewers to watch programs 24 hours a day. Dr. Olaf Goettgens, Vice President, Brand Communications, Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars says that "Mercedes-Benz TV opens up a new and very emotional communication channel for our customers and anyone interested in the brand."
