Ram CEO Reid Bigland has hinted that the company could introduce a high-end model above the range-topping Ram Laramie Longhorn that starts at $44,585.
Ram CEO Reid Bigland has revealed some new details about the company's future product lineup.
Speaking to Automobile Magazine, Bigland said the company could introduce a model above the range-topping Ram Laramie Longhorn that starts at $44,585. As Bigland explained “We don’t even know if that’s the ceiling or if we should go above that."
The executive declined to confirm an ultra-luxury model is in the works but suggested that if the company did build one, it would have to make sure the add-ons weren't “frivolous.”
At the other end of the spectrum, Bigland cast doubt on a Dakota successor. Despite saying mid-size trucks were pretty good in theory, he revealed getting a truck down to approximately $22,000 is a "massive challenge" due, in part, to regulatory and safety requirements.
