Land Rover is proud to announce the 2014 Range Rover Sport has established a new record for the fastest production SUV to tackle Pikes Peak.

It completed the 12.42-mile Colorado mountain's hill road in 12:35.61 with an average speed of 59.17 mph (95.23 km/h). There are no less than 156 corners within the Pikes Peak course which ascends from 9,390 feet (2,860 meters) to 14,110 feet (4,300 meters).
