Toyota has released a teaser photo on its official Facebook account for the 2014 Corolla which will be revealed on June 6.

At the beginning of the year at NAIAS, Toyota showed us a preview of the upcoming Corolla by presenting the surprisingly attractive Furia Concept. At that point they said the updated Corolla will take styling cues from the Furia, and judging by this teaser photo they will keep this promise. The Corolla has never been an attractive car but now for the first time it could turn out to be something quite pleasant.

Based on a leaked ordering guide, 2014MY will bring a revised 4-cylinder, 1.8-liter engine with variable valve timing and lift system. Gearbox choices for entry-level models will include a six-speed manual or an ancient four-speed transmission, while higher-end versions are set to receive an optional CVT.

The 2014 Toyota Corolla will allegedly be offered in four trim levels: base, LE, S and Eco. Inside the cabin we should find GPS, push-button ignition and "Softex" leather.
