Sony has released a new promotional video that hints "something big is happening at Silverstone on May 15th."
Set to coincide with Gran Turismo's 15th anniversary, the event will likely usher in the sixth generation of the popular racing game. Nothing is official, but the clip shows a Nissan GT-R passing cars which bare license plates such as "GT1" and "GT2." The real telltale sign comes at the end of the video where the Gran Turismo logo is shown next to an empty space where the "6" should go.
The event is also slated to feature a variety of cars from Audi, BMW, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, KTM, Mercedes Benz, Tesla and Toyota. Five GT Academy champions will also be on hand to show off their "real-world racing skills with some high-speed passenger laps around the famous circuit."
Little is known about the game itself but a Newegg listing suggested it will go on sale on November 28th for $59.99.
