Volkswagen has officially unveiled the Golf GTI Cabrio Austria concept at Wörthersee 2013. It was created by thirteen apprentices and features unique styling and performance upgrades.

Volkswagen has officially unveiled the Golf GTI Cabrio Austria concept at Wörthersee 2013.

Created by thirteen apprentices, the one-off model has an Oryx White exterior with Flash Red stripes and numerous red accents. The car is also equipped with a front spoiler, a revised rear apron and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Moving on to the cabin, drivers will find tri-color Recaro sport seats, red trim and a 2,250 watt audio system. Other highlights include a flat-bottom steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and distinctive air vents with red accents.

Detailed performance specifications were not released, but Volkswagen says the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine develops 333 HP (245 kW). The company also said the car features a stainless steel sports exhaust system, a strut tower brace and Brembo brakes.
