McLaren has announced plans to bring a variety of historic models to the Goodwood Festival of Speed to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
The company declined to say what will be on display but hinted there will be "some of the most famous race- and championship-winning models from the brand’s illustrious past." The cars will be shown alongside the new 12C GT Can-Am Edition which was announced last November.
As we have previously reported, the 12C GT Can-Am Edition is described as the "rawest, most track-focused model" in the company'shistory. It features an aerodynamic body kit and an unrestricted twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that develops 630 hp (470 kW). Other highlights include a sports steering wheel, a roll cage and black racing seats with six-point harnesses. Only 30 units will be built and pricing starts at £375,000 (€444,625 / $582,040).
