A new report indicates Holden will introduce the range-topping GTS Gen-F next month.

Rumors are suggesting a May 15 launch for what will be Australia's most powerful car ever made. Under the hood it will have a variant of the supercharged V8 6.2-liter engine inside the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 which will produce 576 bhp (430 kW) and 545 lb-ft (740 Nm). The mill will be connected to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic.

The same report says 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) will be done in "comfortably less" than 4.5 seconds, en route to an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (249 km/h). Goodies will include a heavy-duty limited slip differential with additional cooling, aluminum hood and boot, two-piece rotors with lighter brake calipers and a five-stage stability control which will also tweak suspension and steering.

Allegedly hitting showrooms on June 15, the 2013 HSV GTS Gen-F will have a starting price of approximately 95,000 AUD.
