The Fiat 500XL has been revealed via a photo taken within the factory.
The 500XL is the seven-seat version of the 500L and will be 200mm (7.9 inches) longer. Seen in this pic is the people-carrier which sports a third later window as a result to the added length, along with the third row of seats.
Taking into account the 500L is far from being an attractive car, the 500XL falls in the same category (if not worst). The good part is the more practically you get as it provides an additional 100 liters of cargo room and two extra seats.
Engine lineup is expected to be carried over so it will have a 0.9-liter TwinAir Turbo gasoline mill with 105 HP (74 kW) / 107 lb-ft (145 Nm) and a 1.6-liter MultiJet II turbodiesel producing the same amount of horsepower, but with torque increased to 236 lb-ft (320 Nm). It should also be offered with a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine and a 1.3-liter MultiJet.
The 2013 Fiat 500XL will enter production phase in late May in Kragujevac (Serbia), while deliveries will kick off towards the end of July.
