The Skoda Octavia RS was spied once again ahead of an official unveil scheduled for July 11.

This latest prototype was wearing minimal camouflage and we can see its trapezoidal front air intake, larger alloy wheels, rear spoiler and a dual exhaust setup at the back. It has been described by the Czech automaker as the "fastest road-going" Octavia ever and will provide a "motorsport feel, great design, intelligent engineering and outstanding value for money."

Set to debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed, the new Skoda Octavia RS will likely be powered by a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged engine outputting around 220 HP (162 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque.

The car will probably go on sale before the end of the year.
