Hyundai is showing at 2013 Auto Shanghai the Mistra Concept which serves as a preview for a new mid-size sedan.

Several days ago we saw a photo of the Mingtu/Mistra Concept on a billboard and now the car has made its public appearance at Auto Shanghai. It's a preview of an upcoming mid-size family sedan set to be slotted between Elantra and Sonata once it arrives in China later this year.

The concept is 4710mm long, 1820mm wide, 1470mm tall, with a 2770mm wheelbase and 19-inch alloys. According to Hyundai, Mistra will be aimed towards young parents in their 20s/30s and to "meet the diverse needs of the mainstream urban population."

More details are available in the attached press release.
