Kia has announced the 2014 Cadenza will be priced from $35,100 when it goes on sale in the United States later this month.

While the model is significantly more expensive than rivals like the Hyundai Azera and Toyota Avalon, the Cadenza comes nicely equipped with leather seats, an Infinity audio system and an eight-inch touchscreen display with GPS navigation and UVO eServices.

The model can also be equipped with a luxury package that adds Nappa leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster. Other goodies include adaptive HID headlights and a full-length panoramic sunroof.

Moving up to the range-topping Technology variant adds an electronic parking brake, hydrophobic front side windows and 19-inch alloy wheels. The car is also equipped with Advanced Smart Cruise Control, a Blind Spot Detection system and a Lane Departure Warning System.

Regardless of which model is selected, power is provided by a 3.3-liter GDI V6 engine that produces 293 bhp (218 kW) and 255 lb-ft (345 Nm) of torque. It sends power to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.
