Icona has released a couple of new teaser photos in anticipation of the Vulcano which will be showcased next week at 2013 Auto Shanghai.
Icona Shanghai was founded in 2010 and "brings the best of European design, engineering, modeling and prototype experience in the automotive sector for the benefit of its customers in China and Asia."
Vulcano's V12 powertrain was developed by ex-Ferrari engine technical director Claudio Lombardi. The front-engined, two-seater will be able to offer 900 HP (662 kW) which should be enough for a 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) sprint in less than 10 seconds, en route to a top speed of 217 mph (349 km/h).
In terms of styling, the Icona Vulcano will be an evolution of the Fuselage concept shown in 2011 which was drawn by Samuel Chuffart, the firm's design director.
