Ford has announced plans to introduce an all-new concept at the Shanghai Motor Show.

Little is known about the model but Ford's Asia Pacific president, Dave Schoch, said “We are excited to have visitors at Auto Shanghai 2013 come to the Ford display and see for themselves the great products and technologies we are bringing to our customers in China." He also added the company remains on track to launch 15 new models in China by 2015.

The mysterious concept will shown alongside the 23 other vehicles including the new Mondeo, Fiesta ST and CTCC race car.

Ford's Shanghai display will span more than 2,000 square meters (21,527 square feet) and highlight the company's fuel efficient engines, safety technology and infotainment systems.
