Our spies took a few photos of the Honda Civic Tourer production version likely to arrive at dealerships in early 2014.

Following the unveiling of a concept in Geneva last month, Honda is getting ready for the Civic Tourer production model which will have to compete with the Ford Focus Estate, Volkswagen Golf VII Variant and Touring versions of the Kia cee'd and Hyundai i30.

Even though this prototype is wearing a lot of camouflage, we have a pretty good idea how the car will look based on the styling of the preview concept. Hopefully, it won’t stray away from that design as the concept had a sleek and interesting look.

Powering the 2014 Honda Civic Tourer will probably be the same engines offered for the hatchback, including a 1.4-liter i-VTEC with 100 HP (73 kW) / 94 lb-ft (127 Nm), a 1.8-liter i-VTEC rated at 142 HP (104 kW) / 128 lb-ft (174 Nm) and a 2.2-liter i-DTEC producing 150 HP (110 kW) / 258 lb-ft (350 Nm). Most likely Honda will also offer the recently introduced 1.6-liter i-DTEC generating 120 HP (88 kW) and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) of torque.
