Suzuki's bankruptcy plan in the United States has been approved which means they will stop selling cars.

In November 2012 American Suzuki Motor Corp. announced they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Fast forward to the present, Judge Scott C. Clarkson of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California has approved this plan after Suzuki's creditors agreed to the conditions.

This means Suzuki will sell the marine, ATV and motorcycle divisions to the new Suzuki Motor of America subsidiary under the Suzuki name. This newly established firm will be owned entirely by Suzuki Motor Company.

Current Suzuki car owners will not be forgotten as the company mentions service and parts will be available via the remaining dealer network.
