According to a recent report, Volkswagen will launch the new T6 in 2015. It could borrow styling cues from the e-Co-Motion concept.

New details are starting to emerge about the 2015 Volkswagen T6.

Autobild is reporting the model will be heavily influenced by the T5 and share several key components with the outgoing model. We can also expect a variety of cost cutting moves including sourcing infotainment and assistance systems from the Golf and Passat.

Engine options remain unconfirmed but will reportedly include a 2.0-liter petrol with 224 HP (165 kW) and a 2.0-liter diesel with 231 HP (170 kW). Front-wheel drive will be standard, but all-wheel drive should be optional.

Everything sounds pretty evolutionary, but the T6 could adopt a distinctive exterior that borrows cues from the e-Co-Motion concept. Some of the more extraneous styling details would likely be dropped, but the front- and rear fascias could carryover relatively intact.
