Set to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 11th, the 2014 Octavia RS is being billed as the "fastest road-going" Octavia in the company's history.
Skoda has released a new teaser image of the 2014 Octavia RS.
Set to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 11th, the redesigned model is being billed as the "fastest road-going" Octavia in the company's history. Skoda also said the model will offer a "motorsport feel, great design, intelligent engineering and outstanding value for money."
Specifications haven't been released, but the company confirmed the model will be "longer, wider and lighter than its predecessor." It could be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops approximately 220 HP (162 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque.
The teaser image doesn't reveal much, but leaked photos have shown the model will have a sporty body kit with new bumpers, revised side skirts and a trunk-mounted spoiler. We can also expect LED daytime running lights, gloss black accents and a dual exhaust system.
