These leaked patent photos show the Honda Concept C production version due later this year.

At last year's Beijing Auto Show, Honda introduced the Concept C ("Cool", "Challenge", "China") which previewed a future production model. In these leaked pics we take a gander at the car which will be shown next month at Shanghai Auto Show, before going on sale in May or June.

The production variant looks considerably toned down than the concept but it's not a surprise considering its competitors. Set to be positioned below the Accord, the new mid-size sedan will be manufactured in China by the Guangzhou-Honda joint venture, with possible plans of selling the car in a few Asian countries.

It will be priced between 130,000 yuan (21,000 USD) and 170,000 yuan (27,300 USD), and should be offered with 1.8- and 2.0-liter engines linked to a 5-speed manual or auto.
