Scion has announced plans to introduce the 2014 tC at the New York Auto Show.

The company didn't have much to say about the car, but the teaser image suggests it will have an evolutionary design with blacked out A-pillars and a trunk-mounted spoiler. Little else is known about the model, but it is likely just a facelift since the current generation tC was introduced at the 2010 New York Auto Show.

There's no word on what will power the car, but the model is currently equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 180 bhp (134 kW) and 173 lb-ft (234 Nm) of torque.

The Scion tC will be introduced on March 28th, so stay tuned for full details.
