According to a recent report, the recently unveiled Spyker B6 Venator concept is actually based on the Artega GT.

Both of them are mid-engined sports cars with a rear-wheel drive layout. The Artega GT is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine from the VW Group, while the Venator has a V6 engine which AutoBild.de believes is also derived from Volkswagen.

The similarities continue as the Artega GT has a 2460mm wheelbase, while Spyker says the concept has a wheelbase of "less than" 2500mm. The Artega GT tips the scales at 1,285 kg (2,833 lbs) which is comparable to Venator's under 1,400 kg (3,086 lbs).

A member of the Artega GT forum says the exterior mirrors and door handles are the same. In addition, the door panels are very similar and on the inside of both cars the position of the handbrake is identical.
