Sportec has introduced its modified BMW M135i this month at the 83rd Geneva Motor Show.

The Swiss tuner developed a two-stage kit for the hot 1-Series which begins with a power upgrade (via software optimization) from the standard 320 HP (235 kW) to 355 HP (261 kW). Torque has also gone up from 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) to 376 lb-ft (510 Nm).

Stage 2 includes a 200-cell catalyst and downpipe to increase the number of ponies to 370 HP (272 kW). It costs 4,300 EUR and enables the BMW M135i perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.6 seconds, making it 0.3s quicker than the stock model. Top speed has increased from an electronically-limited 155 mph (250 km/h) to an also limited 171 mph (275 km/h).
