A double dose of Lexus LS 600h L and SC 430 hardtop convertible Pebble Beach Editions has been announced. Fifty customers for LS and 300 for SC make the edition exclusive.
Think Pebble Beach and think golf. Not the car but the game, you know, Woods, Furyk, Els? Lately though it’s more like think Pebble Beach, think Lexus. The two brands have been intertwined since August of 2003 when the first Pebble Beach Edition SC 430 came out to play. Again it happened earlier this year. Now it’s the turn of the Lexus LS 600h L and current SC 430 to wear the Pebble Beach Edition badges. While it’s the LS’s first, SC 430 has worn it five times before, making this its sixth appearance as a PB edition.
Pebble Beach allows customers to choose a package exclusive to this agreement, one of three between Callaway Golf Experience, Travel Package or Epicurean Encounter. These LS cars feature exclusive two-tone interior in Alabaster and Black leather trim with something called Dark Grey Bird's-eye maple wood. Among other things it comes with Lexus’ Advanced Pre-Collision System, Advanced Parking Guidance System and Rear-Seat Entertainment System. Only 50 units will be sold to presumably salivating buyers.
As for the SC 430, that receives two-tone Ecru and Black leather trim interior with Black Bird's-eye maple wood trim, run-flat 18-inch tires on Machined Tourmaline alloy wheels. Pebble Beach Edition touches can be spotted here and there in places like carpets and middle console. SC 430 PB Edition is available in 300 units.
