Hyundai has published a teaser photo with the U.S.-bound 2014 Equus ahead of its New York Auto Show arrival scheduled for the end of the month.

Last December they revealed the South Korean version of the facelifted Equus and now they are getting ready for the U.S.-spec model. Hyundai says it has been "significantly enhanced" boasting no less than 30 new or updated features.

The interior cabin promises to bring materials of higher quality, while several enhancements to the handling and ride have been prepared. New safety features and a tweaked driver information display are also on the list.

Hyundai says the 2014MY Equus has also received new exterior elements. One of the changes is most likely the removal of those chrome accents beneath the headlights.

The facelifted South Korean Equus has received updated headlights, alloys and a new look for the front grille, while the back shows less chrome trim and revised LED taillights. Inside it comes with blind spot detection system, head-up display, double-stitched leather seats, more wood trim and a slightly modified steering wheel. Power comes from a GDi V6 3.8-liter with 334 HP (246 kW) or a Tau V8 5.0-liter churning 416 HP (306 kW).
