Alfa Romeo has introduced in Geneva today the 4C Launch Edition which will be limited to 1,000 units.

500 units are going in North America, 400 in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, while 100 will be available for the rest of the world. On order right away, the special edition has a starting price of 60,000 EUR.

Customers can opt for either an Alfa Red or Carrara White paint job, while the carbon aero kit brings new door mirror covers and spoiler, among others. The 4C Launch Edition also has a rear darkened aluminum diffuser, 18-inch front and 19-inch rear alloys, as well as Bi-LED headlights featuring a dark surround.

Other highlights of this limited Alfa Romeo 4C include BMC air cleaner, custom suspension setup, racing exhaust, rear anti-roll bar, different front air intakes and specially painted brake calipers. The cabin has leather/fabric seats with Alcantara, along with a numbered carbon badge. Red stitching on the handbrake, steering wheel trim, sports seats, handles and mats is available for the Alfa Red version.

Under the hood it's the same 1,750cc 4-cylinder engine with 240 HP (176 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) sent to rear wheels through a dual-clutch, 6-speed gearbox and a limited slip differential. It will do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 155 mph (250 km/h).
