Cadillac will bring the stunning Sixteen concept at next month's Amelia Concours d'Elegance.
Quite possibility the star of the show organized at the beginning of next month will be the Sixteen concept which originally debut at the 2003 Detroit Auto Show. As its name implies, the car is powered by a huge 16-cylinder 13.6-liter 32-valve engine linked to a four-speed automatic transmission powering the rear wheels.
Cadillac says the engine (exclusive for this concept) has a minimum output of 1,000 HP (750 kW) and 1,000 lb-ft (1,354 Nm) of torque. Measuring 19-feet long, the Sixteen was fitted with four-wheel steering for easier turning maneuvers. It tips the scales at a whopping 2,270 kg (5,000 lbs).
In the last few years there were several rumors about putting the car into production but unfortunately these never materialized.
