The upcoming 2014 Range Rover Sport has been spied during cold weather testing.
Scheduled to go on sale before the end of the year, the new Range Rover Sport is likely to get an Evoque-like front fascia with a two-bar grille and slender headlights. Also noticeable are different taillights, tailgate-mounted spoiler and a sloping roofline.
As you would expect, the engine lineup will be borrowed from the regular Range Rover which means it will be offered with a 3.0-liter LR-TDV6 diesel producing 255 hp (190 kW) and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. The more powerful 4.4-liter LR-SDV8 diesel will have 335 hp (250 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm).
On the gasoline side, a 5.0-liter LR-V8 with 375 hp (280 kW) and 376 lb-ft (510 Nm) is expected, along with a beefier LR-V8 supercharged mill generating 504 hp (376 kW) and 461 lb-ft (625 Nm) of torque.
