Holden has unveiled the VF Commodore SS V showcar, ahead of the model's international debut as the Chevrolet SS scheduled for this weekend.
The new VF Commodore was revealed in its Calais V-Series luxury variant a few days ago and now it is time for the sportier performance variant to make an appearance. The entry-level variant, ute and sportwagon are scheduled for an unveiling next week.
The SS V shown here wears Fantale orange paint and boasts a quad-pipe exhaust, 20-inch multi-spoke alloys, Brembo brakes and a 6-speed manual gearbox. Compared to the luxury model, its sportier sibling has a more aggressive and wider body kit with more prominent blackened air intake aperture and rear valance, as well as a narrower grille and an aluminum hood with center crease.
Inside it gets ice blue ambient lighting, leather-wrapped sports steering wheel, and an all-new instrument panel with built-in Holden MyLink infotainment system featuring an 8-inch touchscreen display.
