Volkswagen has introduced the R-Line package for the Beetle Convertible in Chicago.

After introducing the R-Line versions of the Tiguan and Touareg at NAIAS last month in Detroit, VW is presenting the Beetle Cabriolet R-Line which will be available later this year as a 2014MY. The car comes with 19-inch alloy wheels with lower-profile all-season tires and a sport-tuned suspension. Other additions include bi-xenon headlights with LED DRLs and an "R-Line" badge on the front grille.

The interior boasts a metallic finish for the dashboard and door trim, along with a flat-bottomed multi-function R-Line steering wheel wrapped in leather and aluminum sport pedals. The Beetle Convertible R-Line comes with leather seating surfaces, keyless access with push-button start, Fender Premium Audio System, stainless steel scuff plates and a navigation system.
