Ford Racing, Ken Block and fifteen52 will debut the Project ST campaign tomorrow in Chicago with the TrackSTer.
This is one of the three custom Focus STs which are part of a project "to make today's hot hatch king even hotter." Various modifications have been done to the car, including the installation of Ford Racing short-throw sifter and performance exhaust system, along with a Mountune engine build using forged rods and pistons. They also provided the performance intercooler and upgraded the ECU.
The Focus ST TrackSTer comes with a Quaife limited slip differential and a Centerforce custom clutch kit, with both of them being developed for the Focus ST-R. Also from the ST-R are the four-piston front caliper front brakes, while the fender flares are taken from the Chinese Touring Car Championship Focus.
