Despite the hefty 3.4M USD price tag, W Motors has already received more than 100 orders for the Lykan Hypersport.
The supercar made its debut at the end of January during the Qatar Motor Show and it turned out to be a huge hit judging by the high number of orders, although W Motors said they plan on making only seven cars.
In an interview given to Arabian Business Qatar, W Motors chairman and CEO Ralph Debbas said "we'd like the first few cars to go to Arabs, even if we have received requests from Russia, China, the U.S." In other words, there will definitely be more than seven units. Initially, production will commence in Turin, Italy but W Motors plans on moving production to Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Doha.
As a reminder, the Lykan Hypersport has a mid-rear, flat-six, twin-turbo engine producing 750 hp (559 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque. The supercar hits 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 245 mph (395 km/h).
