This new version has a sportier stance than the LR2 SE due to body color bumpers and side sills, a rear spoiler, titanium door handles and 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
The Land Rover LR2 has been selling well in the USA since its introduction in April 2007. The new sportier version of the LR2, the LR2 HSE builds on the LR2 SE with new bumpers, side sills, rear spoiler, titanium door handles and 19 inch aluminium wheels.
No power increase for the new derivative, it uses the same 3.2 liter inline-six engine producing 230 bhp. It does on the other hand receive a new automatic transmission, namely Land Rover's CommandShift which can also be used for manual sequential shifting. Additionally the LR2 HSE has a sport mode for 'more responsive performance'.
“The HSE version offers subtle changes for those customers seeking a slightly different look to their LR2," said Phil Popham, Land Rover's Managing Director. The Land Rover LR2 HSE will be at dealships across the USA by November 2007.
