Opel is now offering the Zafira Tourer with a 2.0-liter CDTI BiTurbo engine.
Opel says it's the "fastest diesel-powered seven-seater in the compact van segment" thanks to the 2.0 CDTI BiTurbo engine which produces 195 HP (143 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. It completes the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) run in 8.9 seconds, while from 80 km/h (50 mph) to 120 km/h (75 mph) it takes 8.5 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 218 km/h (135 mph).
The 2013 Opel Zafira Tourer BiTurbo has a fuel consumption of 5.6 liters / 100 km (42 mpg US or 50 mpg UK). The car is offered with three other diesel and four gasoline engines, along with CNG Turbo and LPG variants.
Already available on order, the Zafira Tourer BiTurbo has a starting price of 35,405 EUR in Germany. Deliveries will begin this April.
