Frédric Louis imagined how a Group B Audi RS7 Sportback would look like and came up with these two renders.

Inspired by the recently unveiled 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback, the artist evokes the Group B glory days of the 80s when Audi had the legendary Quattro S1 with its 5-cylinder, 2.1-liter engine. Those were the times when the competition was fierce as Lancia had the Delta S4 while Renault developed the R5 Turbo.

As a reminder, the RS7 makes use of a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter gasoline engine (taken from the RS6 Avant) producing 560 HP (412 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft). Power is delivered to the quattro system through an 8-speed automatic gearbox which rockets the Sportback to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h) when equipped with the optional Dynamic Plus Package.
