Infiniti president says the company will introduce at least four new models within the next four years.
Johan de Nysschen has told Automotive News yesterday in Detroit that Infiniti plans four all-new models which will get new engines and transmissions. He added this expanded lineup will help the company establish itself as a top-tier luxury brand. Paving this road is the recently introduced Q50 sports sedan which is being showcased in Detroit at the NAIAS.
Infiniti will also renew all of its existing nameplates in its U.S. lineup and will use diesel engines from Daimler. In addition, the Etherea concept-based production premium compact model will utilize architecture from Daimler. He added Infiniti will introduce new sedans, crossovers and "seductive" performance cars.
