Braving the scorn of some pretty peeved Opel engineers, spy photographers have managed to snap some pictures of an upcoming coupe concept.

Caught while being loaded onto a truck, the concept appears to be mostly finished which could imply a possible debut later this year - likely in Geneva or Frankfurt. Despite being mostly covered, we can see the model will have bulging fenders and an aggressive front fascia with an Adam-inspired grille.

Little else is known about the model, but former Opel CEO Karl-Friedrich Stracke told reporters that he wanted a Manta successor as well as a "real" GT revival. It remains unclear if this could be one of those cars or possibly a modern day Calibra, but hopefully we'll learn more in the coming months.
