The Mexican sports car is expected to have a familiar appearance but come equipped with an aerodynamic body kit that includes a front splitter and a rear wing. This sounds like a minor change, but engineers apparently wanted to preserve the model's image as an everyday sports car.
Power will likely be provided by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that develops 285 bhp (212 kW). For comparison, the standard MXT has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder Duratec engine with 250 bhp (186 kW) and 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) of torque.
The Autosport International Show kicks off on January 10th, so expect to learn more later this week.
