French designer Marc Devauze is imagining a futuristic single-seater Bugatti based on the firm's successful racecars.

He used as inspiration the 1920s' Type 35 - Bugatti's most successful racecar ever – for this study of a single-seater electric hypercar featuring four in-wheel electric motors. It's envisioned as having detachable lithium-air batteries installed on either side of the driver.

The TypeZero concept is imagined having a racing suspension and lacking a roof or a windshield. It also comes with a minimalistic interior conceived "like an old race car with an enveloping bucket seat stretched through the car."
