Lotus has announced a more expensive version of the Evora called Sports Racer that brings additional equipment as standard.

Lotus has announced a more expensive version of the Evora available for the naturally-aspirated version and the supercharged S model.

It comes with gloss black accents on the front splitter, side sills, roof and rear diffuser. Additional detailing includes the door mirror housings, badges and the gloss black forged alloy wheels. Brake calipers can be painted in either red or black. For the outside, customers get to choose from one of these colors: Ardent Red, Nightfall Blue, Carbon Grey and Aspen White.

The cabin gets a 2+2 seating layout with black leather and contrasting red stitching for the seats. Lotus is also offering red leather with black stitching as an option. The Sports Pack is standard and includes a Sports mode that raises the rev limit and increases throttle response. It also contains cross-drilled brake discs and a rear diffuser.

The Tech Pack brings an uprated stereo, 7-inch touchscreen, DVD player, Bluetooth/USB/iPod support, rear parking sensors, cruise control and a tire pressure monitor system. Lotus has also added a reversing camera and power folding mirrors.

Prices starts from 57,900 GBP for the naturally-aspirated model, while the supercharged Evora S will set you back at least 65,900 GBP.
