Jaguar has released a video showing Martin Brundle, Christian Danner and Justin Bell test a 2013 F-Type prototype.

The three professional drivers were asked by Jaguar to test their latest model on the Snetterton 300 circuit and on the nearby Norfolk roads. They praised the car for its nice engine sound, agility, precision and the amount of torque available right away.

As a reminder, the most powerful version of the F-Type is the V8 S which generates 495 HP (364 kW) and a maximum torque of 461 lb-ft (625 Nm). It enables the convertible to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).

The mid-range F-Type S gets a V6 3.0-liter with 380 HP (279 kW) that is enough for a 0-62 mph sprint in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 171 mph (275 km/h). The entry-level model has the same V6 engine tuned to output 340 HP (250 kW), propelling the car to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds and a top speed of 161 mph (260 km/h).
