The 2013 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup filmed in action at the firm's Weissach test track.
Porsche's latest "precision tool for the race track" is detailed in the latest clip filmed on the company's test track in Weissach.
Power comes from a flat-six 3.8-liter engine producing 460 HP (338 kW), representing a 10 HP (7 kW) increase compared to the outgoing model. This engine is linked to a 6-speed "dog type" transmission controlled via shift paddles mounted on the steering wheel.
It has a driver-focused cockpit with a digital instrument cluster, an angled center stack and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. Inside it also gets a new racing seat, a roof "rescue hatch" and an improved roll cage.
Set to participate in next year's Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, the 2013 911 GT3 Cup will cost from 181,200 EUR (without VAT).
Sometime next year it will spawn a road-legal variant.
