BMW has released another video presentation of the 4-Series Coupe Concept. Arriving in Detroit in January 2013.
BMW has released a video of the 4-Series Coupe Concept reveal presentation held for the media.
Set to replace the current 3-Series Coupe, the new 4-Series Coupe will most likely spawn GranCoupe and Cabrio versions in the years to come following the recipe used for the 6-Series. Needless to say, an M4 is certainly in the pipeline. Regarding nomenclature, the German brand will use odd numbers for sedans and even numbers for coupes for all future models.
Measuring 4641 mm long, 1862 mm wide and 1362 mm high, the new model is longer, wider and lower than the current 3-Series Coupe. In addition, wheelbase has grown by 50mm to 2810mm, while both front and rear tracks are bigger.
Although this is a concept, it looks pretty much production-ready which means that it should retain most of its design elements when the production version arrives. BMW will probably release further info about the car next month when it will be showcased at NAIAS in Detroit.
