We haven't heard much from Carbon Motors since they unveiled their purpose-built E7 police car, but the company has quietly announced plans to introduce a "secret project" on December 17th.

Details are still pending, but the company released a teaser image of a mysterious vehicle that appears to be a crossover or a shooting brake. The model is covered by a sheet, but we can see it will have a wedge-like design with a distinctive rear end.

There's no word on what will power the model, but the E7 is slated to use a BMW-sourced six-cylinder diesel engine that develops more than 250 bhp (186 kW) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque.
