The last 2012 Chevrolet COPO Camaro will be auctioned next month at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction to benefit the American Heart Association.
It is one of the two convertibles built and the only one featuring a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission. It has a COPO 327 engine with a 4.0L Whipple supercharger generating an NHRA-certified 550 hp (410 kW).
As a reminder, Chevrolet built 69 units of the COPO Camaro for 2012 that were also available with a supercharged 327 engine paired to a 2.9L supercharger, along with a naturally-aspirated 427 engine. All units were hand-built and many of the important components are available through the 2013 Chevrolet Performance catalog, along with a "COPO Build Book".
