Jeep has introduced in Los Angeles the Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition which will go on sale next spring.
Based on the Rubicon model, Jeep is selling this anniversary edition as a two- or four-door Wrangler powered by a Pentastar V6 3.6-liter engine with 285 hp (212 kW) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the part-time four-wheel-drive system via a standard 6-speed manual or an optional 5-speed automatic transmission. It benefits from electronic-locking front and rear Dana 44 axles, Rock-Trac transfer case and Tru-Lok locking differentials.
Compared to the standard Rubicon this special variant has a 0.5 inches higher ride height and comes with BF Goodrich KM2 tires measuring 265/70R17 mounted on satin black 17-inch Rubicon alloys with polished faces and the Jeep Wrangler logo on the outside lip.
It comes as standard with a Premium Sunrider soft top and can be ordered with a three-piece black Freedom hard top or a body-colored hard top. Other highlights include black front and rear steel bumpers, dual intake Power Dome hood, Mopar black fuel filler and tail lamp guards, while inside it gets red leather seats along with red stitching on the steering wheel and center console.
