According to a recent report, Mercedes will finally introduced the CLA at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Our spies have caught the Mercedes CLA on numerous occasions, but a recent report is indicating the model will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Previewed by the F800 Style concept, the CLA will be an entry-level sedan that battles four-door variants of the Audi A3 and BMW 1-Series. It will feature CLS-inspired styling with a sloping roof line that gives the model a "four-door coupe" appearance.
The petrol lineup will likely consist of a CLA 180 with 115 HP (85 kW), a CLA 200 with 156 HP (115 kW) and a CLA 250 with 211 HP (155 kW). On the diesel side, there could be a CLA 180 CDI with 109 HP (80 kW), a CLA 200 CDI with 136 HP (100 kW) and a CLA 220 CDI with 170 HP (125 kW). Last but not least, we can expect the CLA 45 AMG to have turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops approximately 335 HP (246 kW) and more than 400+ Nm (295+ lb-ft) of torque.
